Accessibility at A Yankee Line

At A Yankee Line, we are fully committed to ensuring that our transportation services are accessible to all, in line with the guidelines and principles of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

We continually strive to ensure equal access and opportunity for people with disabilities in our transportation services, facilities, and electronic technologies. Our policy includes but is not limited to the following provisions:

  • We have an expansive fleet of vehicles, most of which are fully equipped with wheelchair lifts. When booking your reservation, please inform our office of your needs in advance. For shuttle bus replacement services, please inform the dispatcher at your station for assistance.
  • Our drivers and staff are trained to assist passengers with disabilities in a respectful and competent manner, including but not limited to assisting with boarding and deboarding, stowing assistive devices, and providing information in accessible formats.
  • We provide alternative communication methods for individuals with hearing or speech impairments. Requests for communication aids should be made in advance.
  • We do not refuse service or provide different service to individuals based on their disability.
  • Service animals, as defined by the ADA, are welcome on all of our buses.
  • We accommodate requests for modifications of policies and practices when needed to ensure accessibility of our services.
